Road trip to California?

After graduation I'm going to California with my bestfriend. We're driving there from Atlanta, so It'd be close to a 36 hour drive. We understand that we'd need a lot of money,and that's not really an issue; but we need some help estimating how much money we need. We also need to know what would be a good idea to bring on the trip. We're staying in the Southern California area, and we're going to places like, San Diego, L.A, Santa Cruz, Anaheim, Orange County, and Laguna Beach. Have in mind that we want to do a lot in Cali. Such as Six Flags, Disneyland, concerts, surfing, shopping, and art museums.
