Appendicitis??? Please help, I'm really worried.?

My mommy thinks she might have appendicitis. She says her stomach has been hurting all yesterday and all today. She suddenly started to feel nauseous and just threw up. My sister is now checking her for an elevated temperature. Do you think it could be an appendicits? She is going to the clinic later today. Also, what is the time range of symptoms, like how long untill it reaches its peak or what. I don't know much about it. Please help me i'm rather worried.
