How to get to College.?

Point blank im young im a senior and have no experience with this neither do my parent. i just need a basic overview of.....EVERYTHING. Sorry i can not specific but when i think college its mind boggling. i can not think straight i have so many questions...and im so lost. I hope perferable a parent can guide me.....seeing how they are possibly recently experienced getting there own child to college.
